The casino is pretty much the same as all the others, large, smoky. When we booked it said wifi was not free, but this is included in the 'resort fee' which you don't get a choice about paying so it sort of is. There is a pool which is large with plenty of sun loungers, however it closes at 5 which I think is a little early. ![]() There was a massive queue at check in (we were there just before 4 so it hadn't been open long), look about 30-45 mins to get through. We had a view of Excalibur from our window. We were on the 21st floor inside the pyramid (I think this is the best place to be), when you go out into the corridor there is a great view below to the mezzanine floor of the pyramid. They are sectioned off depending on your floor, there were 4 for our floor but they took forever to come and it seemed like there was only ever 1 or 2 actually in action. ![]() The bathroom was big and the shower was large and powerful, however the decor in the bathroom could have done with some attention. The room we had was massive, with a great big comfy bed, and very clean. ![]() It's okay if you don't mind walking far, or if you don't mind driving up the strip (we did both), but it's quite a way to the main action around the Bellagio. This hotel is on the strip, but right at the bottom.
